Loving Right Now

This week went by so fast (since we had a long weekend) and I seriously can't believe it is Friday.  My days are all mixed up still from the Holiday.  Maybe I should get a calender or something.  Do people even have non-digital day planers and calenders anymore?  Hmmm...just wondering.  I really do use my calender on my phone, but I use it only for important reminders and alerts like "time for Sonic Happy Hour" and "Tivo Modern Family".  You know, really important things that just can't be missed.

So, anyhoo...since it is Friday and all, it is time for my "Loving Right Now" weekly post.  BUT, I thought I would shake it up a bit {I like to do that from time-to-time}.  Instead of my usual weekly link list, of things I find totally and so very fabulous, I thought I would share the Summer makeup I am loving right now.

I don't know about you, but my personal preference is the "less is more" approach to makeup during the  Summer.  I am a mom (aka very little time to get ready) and I live wear it is scorching, so light on the makeup works best for me.  UNLESS, I am going on a hot date with my baby daddy (hubs), then I do like to vamp it up a bit more.

So, here is my "Loving Right Now" 5 min face that I have been defaulting to lately.  I am loving the simplicity, ease, and pretty-ness (another made up word?) of these products as of late.  Enjoy and I hope your weekend is AH-MAZ-IN!  XoX

5 min face for Summer:

Products:
* Bare Minerals Matte SPF15 Foundation

* Benefit One Hot Minute Bronzer

* Benefit BadGal Mascara (in Rich Black)

* Anastasia Brow Gel (in clear)

* Benefit Magic Ink, Liquid Liner (in Jet-Black)

* Nars Blush (in Orgasam)

* Tarte Lipstain in Amused
All imagesVia

Application:
* Bare Minerals goes on first.
* Then I like to keep the eyes very simple with just a thin line (make a small cat eye in the outer corner) of the liquid liner, then two coats of mascara.
* Tame and shape your brows with some brow gel.
* Apply some blush to the Apples of your cheeks, then Bronzer all around.
* Swipe on some lip stain and it's done.  Love the lip stain in bright Pink, since the eyes and everything else are so simple, the bright color really pops and it makes me feel more "done" (and makes me look like I got more than 5 hrs of sleep).

5 min flat.  Done and ready.  Boo-ya.

P.S. All products can be purchased at sephora.com.

Loving Right Now

Here is another list of awesome, fabulous, lovely, and brilliant things I am loving at the moment!

P.S.  It's Friday (I know, Captain obvious here) but...I LOVE FRIDAY!  Hope your Friday and weekend are nothing short of fabulous.

Loving Right Now:

* These adorable plates, that I know my kids would love to nosh upon.

* This Counter top cleaner that makes my kitchen squeaky clean without chemicals and makes it smell like a garden in the process. I think I may even like it better than the method cleaner I wrote about here.

* This DIY tent project.

* Izzie Sparkling soda.  My favorite is the sparkling Clementine.

* This awesome new take on photo booth props.

* This turns me into a bronzed beauty (even when I am painfully pale).

* How great is this vintage ride-on for kids. The Silver one is so fabulous.

* I love little boys in fedoras.  I have to get this....Protects them from the sun and still so stylish.

* I need a one piece swimsuit this year. I have always been a bikini wearing girl, but after two kids....well, like I said, I need a one piece this year.  This one actually got me excited about taking a dip in the pool.

* These Pink beauties are just smashing.

This is one of my new favorite websites (since I love all things food and cooking).

* I just got this vase for my house.  I am in love with it (wish they still had the yellow one).
P.P.S.  Next week I will be having another giveaway AND an awesome bench and end table transformation...stay tuned. Oh, and remember that entryway I have been talking about (for like ever...what a slacker), that might sneak in next week too. XoX
