Will You Be My Valentine?

For Captain Crazy's class this year, I was trying to come up with cute ideas for Valentine's to hand out, instead of the usual "Disney, Transformers, etc...." cards.

I came across these ideas that are so simple and cute, and my son can help make them which is always better then just going to Target to buy them :)

One of my Favorites. How cute and easy to make!

The majority of my sons class is boys, so this might be a cute option.

I really love this...I would tweak it a bit and use pretty, whimsical paper for the hand and possibly stencil lettering.

I am sure this would be a hit with the kids. It's fun and not "too cutesy" for the boys in the class.

I love a great Watercolor project...this is just so simple and sweet! Any kid would love to paint these and hand these out to his friends.  I think adding Swedish fish as the treat would be cute.
I love this. It is just a handmade Lollipop Cover.

P.S. I had to share this, because as I was "pinning" Valentines ideas...this popped up and I had to post it.  HOW FREAKING CUTE!  I am definitely going to make this for my husband.  I love it.

Loving Right Now

I am still in California, just sitting with my feet in the sand.  I wish I always wrote my posts this way...in total bliss. What is it about the beach that makes life seem so simple and perfect?!

Anyhoo, I hope you are all having a great week and that your Friday is fabulous!  I am leaving here on Sunday and headed back to reality, so I will be living up the last few days of vacation with my family.  What are your weekend plans?

Ok lovelies, here is what I found to be so cool, genius, awesome, lovely, totally brilliant and rad this week. Enjoy! XoX

* Chalk Door.

* Great Gift Wrap.

* Tissue Chandeliers.  Move over Tissue poms...these rocks!

* Galvanized buckets. So many uses, but this is just clever and organized perfection!

* Pretty boots.
 * Nude Lip. The perfect Nude lipstick. YSL in Sweet Honey.

Heading into Fall

Can I just say that I have been waiting for Fall weather for like evvveerrr!!  It is my favorite season and now that the temps are moving into cooler days and brisk nights, it is time to start transitioning into Fall Fashion...YES! I have expressed my love for Maxi's {here} before, and I have no intention of hanging them up for the next 6 months.  I can't wait to pair them with boots, scarves, leather jackets and slouchy sweaters!  Here are some of my favorite looks for transitioning maxi skirts well into Fall.  Enjoy your Wednesday dolls!

Any fun plans awaiting for you?  Do you like to get out on the weekends or stay in and veg out?

Alright lovelies, here is what I found to be so cool, genius, awesome, lovely, totally brilliant and rad this week. Enjoy! XoX

Ombre

Are you over the Ombre craze?  Just getting started with it?  Still loving it?

I am still totally obsessed with Ombre hair.  I am however, over the whole Ombre shower curtain that is EVERYWHERE.

A few Ombre accents that I am still really liking at the moment?  Unexpected OMBRE...think cakes, dressers, DIY ombre mobile (made from free paint swatches, seriously), table settings of flowers in shades that cascade.  I love when people think outside of the box when it comes to trends, and take it a step further.  Enjoy your Thursday!! XoX
Love it.

So pretty.

Too lovely to eat.

Perfectly done Ombre.

Over it.

Ummm yea...totally genius. via

Wednesday Wonders

Wednesday Wonders:  It is all about FALL!  I am counting down the days for the leaves to start changing, the temperatures to start dropping, and the boots to start hitting the pavement. Heaven.

Nothing screams "Fall" like Pumpkin, so how about noshing on Pumpkin doughnuts? Why yes please.  Oh, and of course we need some Fall fashion to go along with our scrumptious treat...I am in love with JCrew's Fall 2011 lookbook.  It is so clean, chic, and perfectly pieced together.  As if we would expect anything less from our favorite preppy threads.

Glam

One of Fall's biggest trends this year is 70's Glam.  Fur, gold, leather, and felt floppy's...paired with platforms and wide leg denim...what is there not to love?!  I am totally psyched about this uber decadent and stylish decade that is coming back with a bang.  Hello 70's, you never looked so good...I hope you stay awhile.
