Eclectic

I have been so obsessed with well pieced together, eclectic rooms lately.  I seriously can't enough and I totally want to add some killer, fun, eclectic pieces to my home.   Oh, and can we just talk a minute about a great, eclectic gallery wall?!  One day I will have a whole wall outfitted in awesome artwork that is so mis-matched, but makes you go "wow" at the same time.  Yum.

I think eclectic spaces look well lived in, yet totally cool at the same time.  Like they aren't trying to hard...and I like that.  Rock on eclectic rooms! Happy Monday dolls. XoX

Loving Right Now

Happy Friday to you all!!  Do you have any fun plans for the weekend?  The hubs and I are heading to Malibu for one of my best friends wedding.  It is always hard leaving my babies, but I know they are going to have a blast at my sisters...and I love coming back refreshed.  I have already warned my hubby though, there will be tears. I always cry the first night away from my kids.  Does anyone else do that?

Side note:  Remember the movie My Best Friends Wedding?!  Seriously killer, one of my favs!

Anyhoo, here is what I found to be so totally genius, brilliant, awesome, rad, lovely, and down right fabulous this week.  Enjoy your day and make someone smile today would ya?!  XoX

* Emily Henderson.  Honestly, she is one of my favorite designers EVVVEERRR.  She does no wrong...I love every single room she puts together.

* Individual Pie.  How freaking cute are these little pie slices?  Adorable for a party, or even as a "thank you".

* Crayon Art.  I am soooo doing this with Capt. Crazy next week.  We need some art in the toy room, and this would be the perfect fit ... and totally cool.

* Oversized Sweaters.  Please Fall, I am begging you to get here faster...I need sweaters in my life again pronto.

* Mint Cake.  My husband's favorite combo is Mint + Chocolate.  This will be the Birthday cake I make for him this year. Yum.

* The Rescuing Hug.  I was balling when I read this article about these infant twins.  Being a twin myself, it really pulled at my heart strings.  Oh the power of love and family...the greatest blessing of all.  Read more about the story {here}.

* Friends.  I love making new {good} friends.  Remember how I told you to make someone smile today?  Because sometimes people just need a smile, a hug, or maybe because they are a new friend in the making...just waiting to enter your life.
