Drift On

Is everyone else out there loving the Driftwood trend as much as me?  When I see home decor with accents of Driftwood, it makes me feel all warm and excited (weird?!).  Seriously though, I love the eclectic look that driftwood brings to a space and not to mention the cozy natural feeling it evokes. Summer is the perfect time to bring some driftwood indoors since its natural vibe is such a coastal fabulousness (I am making words up again). I am totally inspired to try my hand at a DIY Driftwood project after seeing some of these amazing pieces.  Drift On and enjoy fellow Bloggers, and Happy Tuesday. Make it a great day!
I love this Driftwood Bowl.  Find it here.

This Hurricane is so simple and stunning.  Find it here.

This round Driftwood mirror is a perfect take on the popular sunburst mirror.  This wood be so pretty in a guest bath above a pedestal sink. Find it here.

Classic Driftwood Mirror.  It is larger in scale then most driftwood mirrors, so this would be a great entry mirror. Find it here. (or make one yourself for cheap)!

This driftwood screen is just fabulous.  Read all about it here.

DIY Driftwood Shelf.  Love this one!  Read the tutorial here.

Loving this lamp?  Me too!  It is another easy DIY project.  Check it out here.

How easy would this be to make?  I love it!  Find it here.

Hey Brittany! I hope you had a wonderful mother's day as well! The pic of you and your boys is just gorgeous. Love this driftwood post. I used to collect driftwood with my grandmother every time we went to the beach. I still have a couple of pieces in my home that I adore. I'll have to try to find a picture of the custom driftwood chest she had made. It was gorgeous. P.S. Did you see the dresser project I linked you up to? It turned out fantastic!

I used to make candle holders out of driftwood. I think it is hauntingly beautiful.

I've always thought driftwood decor should stay at the beach, but I love these chic details! I'm definitely going to try integrating these into my new home xoxo Marissa

I was thinking that I was kind of tired of the driftwood-y finish on furniture pieces, but then I saw your lovely accessories! I still like it there. :)
